ANTICIPATE
REPAVING ON SECTION OF KINGSTON PIKE
Contractor crews on
Thursday, July 14 and possibly Friday, July 15 will be repaving a section of Kingston Pike between
Concord Street/Neyland Drive and Alcoa Highway, as part of the City’s road
maintenance schedule that includes resurfacing 65 miles of streets each year.
Motorists between 9
a.m. and 3 p.m. should anticipate alternating lane closures due to the repaving.
While that section of Kingston Pike will remain open, alternating lanes will be
closed and traffic backups may occur.
