Cumberland Avenue Construction Updates

Check out the new feature, the Construction Two Week Look Ahead on www.cumberlandconnect.com. This feature is available from the home page and will provide updates and photos of work as we continue construction. This week's update is posted below:

Both utility and streetscape construction are still on schedule, even though we have had some weather issues to contend with.

Over the next two weeks expect to see:

  • The completion of the new sidewalks on the west side of North 22nd Street
  • Completion of underground electric on north side of Cumberland across 22nd
  • The continuation of the 42" storm drainage moving east near 20th Street
  • Installation of silva cells near Cookout - silva cells provide underground root space for the new tree plantings.

We will continue to provide weekly updates as we move forward with the streetscape transformation.
